Wines

Querciabella is dedicated to producing among the finest Italian wines. Quality begins in the vineyard and with minimal intervention one can produce a wine that is truly a reflection of the soil in which the vines are grown. The grapes are rigorously selected from low yielding vines with the emphasis placed on concentration and richness from nature.

Camartina is made and released only if the vintage reaches a very good quality level. Camartina was not produced in 1989, in 1992, and in 1998 since the wine maker decided the quality was not sufficient. Camartina should be served between 59°–64° F (15°–18° C.). This wine has been discussed here.

Isole e Olena Chianti Classico
Another beautifully coloured wine, a rich but not opaque garnet red hue. The nose has firm, dense fruit and evidence of new oak, but it closes down after a short while to reveal very little.
